Can mold be harmful to my health?

Yes, the most common heath problems from molds is allergy symptoms including: Runny nose, scratchy throat, itchy eyes and in more severe cases sinus infections or skin rashes.

How do I tell if I have a mold issue and if I have an issue who should be taking care of it?

Sometimes you can tell that you may have an issue if you notice what may be visible mold growth (usually black discoloration found on a wall or ceiling). You may also notice a musty, earthy or weedy odor that is not normally present. If you notice one of these two signs for mold growth, the next step would be to contact Advanced Restoration and have them provide you with an initial inspection to help determine the severity of your problem. We will then provide you with an estimate for the remediation/removal of the issue and any further recommendations if necessary. We will also help you to determine what is causing the mold growth to occur.
